America's Cup Experience

 

Having previously hosted corporate and international guests to view both the 2000 and 2003 America’s Cups and numerous Volvo Ocean race stopovers in Auckland, Cruise New Zealand has the experience to make the up and coming event truly memorable. Our beautifully appointed vessels are the perfect location to view the America's Cup racing and being moored in highly visual locations in the Auckland Viaduct, make for fantastic branding opportunities and for hosting on dock events.

There are currently two vessels in the Cruise New Zealand fleet that are still available for charter. Both are luxury catamarans with ocean-going capability. “MV Escape” capable of accommodating up to 30 guests for day excursions along with “MV Rua Moana” a 25-million-dollar super yacht capable of hosting up to 50 guests in true luxury. 

MV Escape for up to 30 guests – Exclusive use 

Prada Cup –  January/February 2021 

Daily Rate (available and sold on single days): $9,950.00 per day plus GST (includes vessel branding for the charter period, skipper and crew)

Americas Cup Match – 6th of March to 20th of March 2021 Inclusive 

Minimum 7 Day Charter Period $14,950.00 per day plus GST  (includes vessel branding for the charter period, skipper and crew)

Super Yacht Rua Moana for up to 50 guests – Exclusive use 

Christmas Cup – 17,18,20 December 

Day Rate (sold on single days) - $24,950.00 per day plus GST (includes vessel branding for the charter period, skipper and crew)

Rua Moana VIP Prada Experience for up to 20 seats per day

We currently have 20 seats per day available during the 17 scheduled race days of the Prada Cup Series - $1,500.00 per seat plus GST (minimum 10 seats per day, you can purchase seats on individual days or multiple days). Please see these dates as follows: 

Prada Cup Race Dates and current availability: 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th and 31st of January

& 2nd, 13th, 14th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd of February. 

Guests will enjoy the same VIP Prada experience that Prada’s visitors and sponsors will receive. Prada is still in the throes of finalising their sponsors offering but it will be along the lines and approximate timings as below:

12.00pm - Pre race VIP hospitality in the Prada lounge including Italian styled food and beverages.

2.00pm - Board the luxury Super Catamaran Rua Moana, the vessel will be flagged and have priority on the race course which will offer a very exclusive opportunity to get close to all the action. A Commentator and possible yachting personalities will be onboard to enhance the experience. Food and beverage will be included for the afternoon.

7.00pm - Return to the dock for farewell and enjoy another hour in the Prada VIP lounge or aboard Rua Moana (Final details yet to be confirmed)

8.00pm - Finish.
